Chicago Blackhawks Wool Pocket Scarf
Chicago Blackhawks Wool Pocket Scarf
The Chicago Blackhawks joined the NHL in 1926. Maj. McLaughlin moved the team to Chicago, renaming them the Blackhawks after his former army division- nicknamed “Blackhawk Division”- in honour of Black Hawk who was a respected Sauk leader and prominent figure in the history of Illinois. The Blackhawks played their first game on November 17, 1926, and have won 6 Stanley Cup® Championships. The date of their first game and number of Stanley Cup® Championship victories has been used to create the thread counts (width of lines) within the weave of this original tartan design: 11-17-19-26-06.
