Montreal Alouettes Lambswool Stole
Montreal Alouettes Lambswool Stole
The team's name originates from the 425th Squadron – the Royal Canadian Air Force's first French Canadian Squadron. Founded in 1942, the 425th Squadron quickly became known as the "Alouettes" in honour of the native Gallic bird renowned for its tenacity and flying at a very high altitude. The team's founding dates of 19 and 46 and the number 7, representing the seven Grey Cup Championships, have been used for the thread counts within the tartan weave.
Lambswool is considered the highest quality of sheep's wool on the market. Taken from a sheep at its first shearing, lambswool is incredibly soft, smooth, resilient and has superior elasticity. The unique weaving process generates air pockets that retain heat while preventing moisture. Along with being natural, breathable and hypoallergenic, our lambswool can be worn comfortably against the skin.
