Winnipeg Jets Extra Long Lambswool Scarf
Winnipeg Jets Extra Long Lambswool Scarf
The new Winnipeg Jets- formerly the Atlanta Thrashers- relocated to Winnipeg in 2011. The team paid homage to Winnipeg’s previous NHL team between 1979-1996 by taking on the Jets name. The team logo features a CF-18 Hornet jet, as a nod to the local Royal Canadian Air Force 17 Wing. The team’s first game following their return was on October 9, 2011. The date of the first game of the original Winnipeg Jets, on October 10, 1979, has been used to create the thread counts (width of lines) within the weave of this original tartan design: 10-10-19-79.
Lambswool is considered the highest quality of sheep's wool on the market. Taken from a sheep at its first shearing, lambswool is incredibly soft, smooth, resilient and has superior elasticity. The unique weaving process generates air pockets that retain heat while preventing moisture. Along with being natural, breathable and hypoallergenic, our lambswool can be worn comfortably against the skin.
Wear your favourite tartan design all year round! Measures approximately 12″ wide, scarf length at least 68″ long with a 3″ fringe on either end.
